With over 30 years in Health & Social Care, I'm the driving force behind learning and development at HomeCare Direct. I oversee the Training Department, making sure every member of the team has the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
My background is wonderfully hands-on. I've worked as a Healthcare Assistant in hospitals, nursing homes, community care and residential care management — which means I truly understand the realities of frontline care. That lived experience is what makes me effective as a trainer and developer of others.
I have a genuine passion for helping people grow and succeed in their roles.
I enjoy long walks with my dog, quality time with family and friends, relaxing spa breaks and sunny holidays.
Before joining HomeCare Direct, I worked for Handle with Care, where I achieved qualifications as a Trainer, NVQ Assessor and Verifier through City & Guilds. I have a genuine passion for helping people grow and succeed in their roles.
