I've worked in Health and Social Care since 2003 and joined HomeCare Direct in June 2018. I'm currently the Care Manager — a role I really enjoy, mainly because no two days are ever the same, and I get to work with such a brilliant and supportive team.
I started my career in frontline care and moved into care management in 2010. Since then I've worked across a range of services — Residential, Specialist Dementia Care and Nursing Care management. My previous roles have included Registered Manager and Peripatetic Manager for private independent providers and larger care organisations such as Avery Healthcare and Bupa.
It matters to me to feel proud of where I work and the service we deliver — and I definitely get that at HCD.
I enjoy spending time with my family, going on holiday whenever I can, listening to music, and making memories with the people closest to me.
My favourite part of the role is supporting teams, raising compliance standards, and seeing the positive difference we make for clients, families and PAs. It matters to me to feel proud of where I work and the service we deliver — and I definitely get that at HCD.
